Most props were sourced from charity shops or from friends and family to fit within our tight budget. An extensive amount of research was conducted to ensure we were getting quality items which fit with our design and genre.

To ensure the set looked "homely", I hemmed and draped curtains, hung wallpaper, laid carpet and Lino flooring as well as painted the skirting and edging. It was crucial that the viewer would not be able to tell that the room had been constructed in a studio.

A lot of scenes required us to "destroy" the flat. This meant that I had to take an abundance of continuity pictures so that we could reset to go for another take. I also had to ensure I had duplicate props in case of breakage.
